To continue my growth and achievements as a visual artist and to secure employment in a field that I enjoy.

Summary of Qualifications:

I have dreams and aspirations accompanied with real skills and talents. I have excellent communication skills and the ability to use tact and diplomacy. I am comfortable giving or taking direction. I work well with others as well as alone. Willing to put in unusual hours to complete tasks. Some of the graphic programs that I use and or am rapidly learning are Photoshop 6, CorelDraw 9, Flash 5, Maya 4, Adobe Premier, Front Page, CuteFTP.

Education History:

2002 Computer Animation at Okanagan University College. Includes 2D with Flash 5 and 3D with Maya, plus extra Fine arts drawing, , British Columbia.

1986-89 Working on BFA degree, at Grande Prairie Regional College, Grande Prairie, Alberta.
1978 Advanced Painting - Instructor, Mr. J. Epp, Cumberland Community College, Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan.
1970 Painting course, basic composition and design - Banff School of Fine Art (summer course), Banff, Alberta.
1969 Attended adult oil painting classes , at Gillam Recreation Centre, Gillam, Manitoba.

Note:
Much of my education was in the home. Doreen Beaupre, my mother and other accomplished artists, Lois Whitford and Daphne Beven influenced my artistic abilities greatly.

1987 Eupheria McNaught Scholarship in Art, Sponsor - Beverlodge Historical Association , Grande Prairie Regional College.
1986 Visual Arts Prize, from Visual and Performing Arts Department, Grande Prairie Regional College.
1983 Awarded Position as Juror Trainee at the Annual Northern Juried Art Show, Manitoba.
1976 Purchase Award- Oil painting Titled "backyard" .Purchased for Provincial Building Offices at the of the Thompson Provincial Bldg. Art Competition.
1975 First Prize-  Charcoal drawing titled, "Woman at the well" Art Fair at the Friendship Centre in The Pas, Manitoba.
1970 First Prize Oil pastels, "Portrait Of A Child". Thompson Juried Art Show.
1970 Grand Award - Oil painting "Polar Bears". Thompson Juried Art Show.
1972 Awarded participation in the  Film Festival l - film and animation workshop.
1970 Awarded from Gillam School and Community, Scholarship for Summer course at the Banff School of Fine Arts.

ART RELATED EMPLOYMENT:

1994-03 Self employed  Hand painted golf balls, portraits, designing pamphlets, business cards, cover for Okanagan University College's 2003 calendar brochure.
1985-86 Employed as  a painter  and designer for Fairway Fantasies, hand painted golf balls.
1983-84 Did 5 murals for Road Runner Bar at the Grand Prairie Inn. Grande Prairie, Alberta.
1983- 84 Self employed commission work as portrait artist. Subject - Northern wildlife.
1980-82 Employed  by Gillam Recreation Department,artist for posters and advertising, instructor for children's arts and crafts, completed wall mural at the recreation Centre.
1981 Member of the judging panel at the Gillam School Art Fair.
1979 Oil Painting Instructor in Tisdale, Saskatchewan. and Instructor for young students, summer drawing classes for Cumberland Community College, Hudson Bay, Sask.
